In the event you need admin rights for your machine, you can submit a request via helpdesk ticket on this website. If your request is approved, you will be given a temporary administrative password that will expire in no more than 8 hours.
It is important that you do NOT sign in to your computer with these credentials
To use the temporary password, do not sign in as this account. Instead, enter the following information when the User Account Control window appears:

Enter the following to proceed:
Username: .\Administrator
Password: Temporary password provided by Computer Services
Note the ".\" in the username before Administrator! You won't be able to continue without this prefix.
