In Windows 11, you now have the option of choosing whether your taskbar icons align to the center or the left of the screen. Previous versions of Windows only allowed items to aligned left. This article will explain how to customize this setting.

Changing Taskbar Alignment

1. Open the Settings app. You can do this quickly by right-clicking the Start button and then click Settings.


2. In the sidebar, click Personalization. Then click Taskbar.


3. Click "Taskbar behaviors" at the bottom of the list. Then you can change the taskbar alignment setting from the dropdown menu.
